About Swan Lake Apiary

Swan Lake Apiary is a small bee sanctuary nestled on a 20 acre farm that backs up to the St. Joseph River in Constantine, Michigan. We originally had only one hive which was intended to help pollinate fruit trees, but due to high local demand, we’ve developed into a delightful small business that continues to grow each year. Much of the knowledge and resources used to produce our distinct and delicious honey has been passed down from my father, who was an avid beekeeper and wanted his sons to continue the tradition.

The bees are surrounded with clover, buckwheat, blackberries, and multiple fruit trees such as apples, plums, peaches, apricots, cherries, and pears. New plants are being added every year to help develop a smooth taste that is unique to our honey.

Our honey is filtered through a 400-Micron filter to remove any impurities and maintain a bright, clear color with extended shelf life. It contains all the goodness of nectar mixed with natural enzymes secreted by bees. There are no added chemicals, fillers, colors or processing—it is 100% natural!
