People usually see the initial effects of Regulari-T within a couple of days, which includes having a regular bowel movement. Most people then reach a point where they are having daily or close to daily bowel movements within a week of beginning regular use. This product is formulated to help the body get back to a state of balance so that regular bowel movements become a natural occurrence within 2-3 months and Regulari-T is no longer needed.
Everyone is different, and results will vary from person to person. The key is to maintain consistent use every day to see best results.
Take two capsules every morning with or without food every morning.
For added benefits, consider taking one minute to sit down, take three deep belly breaths, and imagine fully relaxing internally and externally.
Aloe Vera is a common plant known as “the plant of immortality” that is used for its healing effects in the mouth and digestive tract.
Butternut is a tree that is part of the walnut species and is found in the eastern United States and southeast Canada. Its bark is believed to have mild cathartic properties.
Horseradish is a root vegetable commonly used in Europe and Western Asia to support respiratory function.
Psyllium Seed Husks
Psyllium is a group of plants cultivated for their seeds, which are a source of mucilage. Mucilage is a thick, gluey substance produced by nearly all plants, and it plays a role in the storage of water and food, seed and germination, and thickening membranes.
Turkey Rhubarb (also called Chinese Rhubarb) is a plant that is native to regions of western China, northern Tibet, and the Mongolian Plateau. Its roots have been used as a purgative for at least 2,000 years, and it is still widely used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for its astringent, laxative, and antibacterial properties.
What do consumers need to know about constipation?
The medical guideline for determining if one is constipated, is infrequent bowel movements numbering less than 3 times per week. Put another way, that’s less than a bowel movement every other day. This signals a problem with “normal” motility and transit time – the amount of time it should take the content of the bowel from food and drink to travel the length of the intestinal tract and exit the body. It also generally indicates less than an optimal dietary intake of fiber and fluids (preferably water). It’s estimated that constipation may afflict an estimated 30% of the adult population of the U.S. and is more common in women than men. But, medical awareness and emphasis on bowel health is underemphasized here as in most industrialized countries so this condition of ill health is probably more wide spread.
Is Regulari-T a laxative?
Not by design. Laxatives on an OTC (available “over the counter” without a prescription) basis are divided into two main types, stimulant laxatives and stool softeners. Stimulant laxatives generally work by stimulating peristalsis; that is, speeding up the wave like muscle contractions that move the content of the large intestine along. Stool softeners, sometimes referred to as bulk forming laxatives, are generally made up of fluid absorbing (hydrophilic) plant fiber such as Psyllium seed hulls. They increase bowel motility by keeping water in the stools, softening content and increasing volume at the same time; thus causing distention (weight/volume in the bowel that brings on the urge to eliminate).
Because constipation should be considered as a symptom rather than a disease and constant use of laxatives can lead to laxative dependence, regularity is not so much a question of need for a laxative as it is an indicator for need of improvement in bowel transit time through an improvement in bowel health. Constipation is easier to prevent than it is to cure therefore, bowel tonic support is preferable to extended use of laxatives. Regulari-T was formulated with this outcome in mind.
Why is this formula “best in class”?
Regulari-T provides bowel support using botanical ingredients that both support and normalize peristalsis while providing stool softening bulk. Nature has provided a large array of botanicals with stimulant laxative action. They range in strength from purgatives (strongest) to aperients (mildest). Regulari-T uses only tonic aperients and buffers their activity with digestive support ingredients as well as the most reliable and consistent bulk former. This combination of ingredients serves to help eliminate gas and intestinal griping while preserving and supporting the role of beneficial bacteria in the colon. Generally this formula will…
- Support proper elimination
- Support overall bowel health
- Promote regularity and the feeling of well-being that accompanies it.
